Here is some of the equipment I use for local and travel adventures.

This is my rigid 29er singlespeed mountain bike. It is 1 of 32 custom built as an aniversary edition for Phil Wood. The bike was fabricated by IBF, Independent Bike Fabricators.
-
I built this canoe in about 3 months, in my carport. It is made of cedar, ash, and redwood. The wood is sandwiched with fiberglass, and varnished. In the photo, it is at Lake Eleanor near Yosemite.

This bike is now set up with huge cruiser tires. It is a blast to cruise on the road. It is a steel frame, with a cable and spring downtube. It is very flexy.

Everybody needs a loyal sidekick. OK, she's Elaine's loyal sidekick. She does pay attention if I have a dog biscuit, or a beer. She likes IPA's, especially Seabright Brewery's.

This is the Specialized Tarmac I picked up brand new on Ebay. Great deal. Great Bike. It is carbon fiber and very stiff, but very comfortable. The power goes to the wheels.
